Explore 7 unique regions of the world in just one night.
With more than 3,000 attendees expected this year, International Night is proud to boast itself as one of GSMST's biggest events of the year. Students, families and community members are invited to join us in this annual celebration of culture and diversity. For the first half of the night (from 3-5pm), attendees will be able to travel to the 7 different regions; learn more about each region's culture; participate in a variety of fun games and activities; and try some delicious cultural flavors!
FAQs
how much do tickets cost?
Admission to the event is FREE. There will be no cost to walk around and explore all of the different regions. However, there will be a $5 ticket to see the International Night Talent Show live, and GSMST student will be given the opportunity to purchase 2 tickets. If you don't want a ticket, no worries! You can still see the show live-streamed for FREE from the Main Level Lecture Hall, Lower Level Lecture Hall, or the Chorus Room.
how much does the food cost?
The food samples from each region are completely free to taste, thanks to our generous PTSA & donors.
why are you charging to see the show?
As we've learned from previous years, the International Night Talent Show is the biggest attraction of the night. Unfortunately, we only have a limited amount of seats in the Cafeteria per fire safety standards. Our goal with the $5 pre-order ticket and 2 ticket limit is to ensure that all GSMST students who would like to see the show get a fair and equal chance to purchase tickets and watch the show live. If you'd rather not pay $5 to see the show live, no worries! The show will be live-streamed for FREE viewing in the Main Level Lecture Hall and Lower Level Lecture Hall.
Where can I enter/park at?
The ONLY entrance that event-goers may enter through is the BACK entrance (where the bus lanes are). Please DO NOT use the front entrance unless you are dropping off food donations. Likewise, please park your cars in the back (in either the student or teacher parking lots). This is to keep the number of entrance points to a minimum and keep our building secure.

A spectacular cultural show put on by our very own students.
Each year, the biggest attraction and the grand finale of International Night continues to be the cultural talent show, where students proudly display and represent their diverse nationalities. The "exploring the regions" part of International Night will be shut down at 3:00 pm promptly to prepare for the show that will start at 3:30pm. Attendees will be encouraged to go to the cafeteria for live viewing (if they have a pre-purchased wristband) or the main and lower level lecture halls for free viewing of the show.
